Over the years, there have been many gospels that evolved, some still evolving. All the gospels that have evolved over the years have one or two things that distinguishes one from the another. For many decades, there has never been nor will there be any gospel like the gospel of Jesus Christ. What makes the gospel of Jesus Christ so different?
Apostle Paul, once a blasphemer, a persecutor of Christians. He thought he was doing the right thing.
1 Timothy 1:13 KJV
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
When saved by the saving power of God, he declared that he was not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, why?
Below are the reasons why he declared that he was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
Romans 1:15-17 KJV
So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. [17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
1) The gospel of Jesus Christ has immense saving power to save as many that believe. The gospel of Jesus Christ has saved the souls of many around the world. There is so much to this world that our eyes cannot see, only the gospel of Jesus Christ can save you.
2) The righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
3) The power of God is also revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ, blind eyes receive their sight, deaf ears open, the dead come back to life.
4) The gospel of Jesus Christ not only makes it possible for men and women to receive forgiveness of sin but cleanses the consciousness of men from guilt.
5) Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, demons tremble at the mention of the name Jesus
6) Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, His ambassadors do miracle in His name; that is unheard of.
